We are the faithful members of the Saint Michael Catholic Church in Abatiku Islet, part of the vibrant Abemama Parish in Kiribati. Our mission is to grow together in Christ, serve our people with love, and build a stronger Catholic community for generations to come.
As a close-knit island community, our Catholic faith is the heart of our daily lives. We gather for Mass, prayer, and fellowship to support one another spiritually and socially. Guided by our Catechist and lay members, we strive to live out the teachings of Christ in all that we do.

Our old chapel is no longer able to serve our growing congregation. We are raising funds to build a new concrete chapel—a safe, beautiful, and lasting house of worship for our community.

A Sacred Space for Prayer, Peace, and Presence
We are planning to build a Marian Grotto, a peaceful space for prayer and reflection, surrounded by flowers and nature—a sanctuary of grace for all.
